Nothing screams fall like pumpkins here in Texas! We don’t get changing leaves, or much cooler temperatures, but we’ve got an entire truck load of pumpkins! A couple Sundays ago, we worked with Bulverde United Methodist Church to unload over 2,800 pumpkins for their annual pumpkin patch! Youth and parents are signing up to help work the patch because a portion of the profits goes straight to our youth group, and it’s our main fundraiser of the year!
What do we plan to do with all of those funds?
-Tithe to our church
-Give a portion to Diabetes Research in honor of our student Tyler who struggles daily with Juvenile Diabetes
-Save up for our mission trip this summer!
-Help others with a big service project near Thanksgiving
-Worship services with guest speakers and worship leaders, to help us grow deeper in our faith
-Bible studies to work through together
-Look good: we’re talking youth group shirts here, people!
-Have fun: celebrate together like a family!
We appreciate all of your help: unloading pumpking, working the patch and purchasing pumpkins!
